Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring a current LA or compact RN license and at least one year of relevant nursing experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg and Telemetry Float unit
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 to 19:30
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Nurse-to-patient staffing ratio is 1:6
• Floating required within the MS/Tele units
• Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Former permanent employees must be separated from any LCMC facility for at least 1 year

Additional Information

• Pre-assignment online modules are required and must be completed before starting
• Strict maximum of 5 days Requested Time Off (RTO) is allowed
• Modules vary in length and are managed by the facility's education department
• Typical responsibilities include caring for med/surg and telemetry patients across various units
• Returning employees must comply with the 1-year separation policy from all LCMC facilities
