Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with a valid CA license, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of current PACU nursing experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
• Day shift, five 8-hour shifts per week from 8:00 to 16:30
• Patient care for post-anesthesia recovery, including monitoring and stabilization
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliated nearby hospitals

Requirements

• Active, valid CA RN license at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years PACU RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS and any other required certifications
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in comparable settings
• Compliance with a 50-mile local radius rule for eligibility

Additional Information

• Expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Must be willing to work at least 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Dress code and scrub color information to be provided during orientation
• Returning staff must wait at least 3 months before being considered again as a traveler
• Pre-start online modules are required and must be completed prior to beginning of assignment
• Requested time off must be finalized at time of application; post-submission RTO may be denied
