American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts at a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital with DC license and COVID-19 vaccination required.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:30 to 08:00
• Patient ratios are typically 1:4-5
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No floating required to other units
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner Sorian EMR

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Minimum 1.5 years Emergency Department RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card required

Additional Information

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Must be able to provide care to trauma patients and support high-acuity cases
• Must cover both assigned and rotating holidays
• Parking is available for a fee or accessible via public transportation
• Candidates previously employed must have a 1-year separation before being eligible
