American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position caring for adults and older adults using Epic EMR and requiring current GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit with an adult and older adult patient population
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• Care involves trauma patients and administration of Heparin drips and other acute medications
• Specialty equipment used includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Documented Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Completed Med/Surg Tele skills checklist required
• Two references from similar experience within the last two years, from supervisors or managers
• Prior experience with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• NICHE training, skilled nursing, or rehab experience is a plus but not required
• Daily responsibilities include monitoring trauma patients and managing Heparin drips and other acute medications
• Must be comfortable using physical therapy equipment and mobility devices like gait belts and geriatric chairs
• No RTO will be accepted
