American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring CA RN license, AHA certifications, and at least 3 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 to 19:30), three shifts per week
• Patient population includes laboring, postpartum, and surgical (C-section) patients
• Required to circulate for C-sections
• Float to other departments or facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
• Must be willing to work every other weekend

Requirements

• Active CA RN license
• Certifications required: AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 3 years of L&D RN experience with at least 1 year recent
• Postpartum nursing experience required
• Ability to circulate in C-section cases required
• Prior travel nursing assignment within the past 12 months required
• COVID vaccination and booster required before start date
• Prior teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with up to 8 hours included in onboarding
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule
• RTO requests must be submitted and approved at time of offer and cannot be changed after contract signing
• Travel pairs are allowed, but not assigned to the same unit; married couples may not work on the same unit
• Team members may be reassigned to other units or facilities based on staffing needs
