Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact license.

Details

• Position is in a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery within a children's hospital environment
• Average daily census is 22-24 neonatal patients
• Expect rotation between day and night shifts for a 36 hour work week
• Floating required to the Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and PICU
• Assignments matched to skill level when floating
• Travel nurses do not attend deliveries

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required throughout the assignment
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma within the last 2 years
• No local candidates; must live outside a 75-mile radius

Additional Information

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an advanced neonatal intensive care setting
• Full services of a children’s hospital are available within the unit
• Coverage will include both day and night shifts
• Assignments begin in March only
