American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Cardiology Clinic role requiring Epic and cardiology experience along with ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with options of either 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float as needed to clinics within a 20 mile radius
• Care for adult cardiology patients with various cardiac conditions
• Utilizes Epic (Excellian) for charting and documentation
• Arrhythmia interpretation, cardiac arrest/CPR response, hypertension management, and use of AED are part of daily responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MN RN license is required; pending license accepted
• At least 2 years of RN experience, with specific cardiology and outpatient clinical experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
• Must be able to obtain and interpret laboratory results, complete medication reconciliation, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, vital signs, and conduct patient health assessments
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility for eligibility
• Minimum of one supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Daily duties include comprehensive cardiac assessments and managing patients with chest pain, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions
• Navy blue scrubs are required while on shift
• Training modules must be completed prior to start, with orientation including Epic/Excellian classes
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• A 3-month gap is required for former permanent staff before returning as a traveler
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is permitted during the assignment

• All required testing, including fingerprinting for background checks, must be completed prior to start
