American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric PACU position requiring a CA license, BLS, PALS, and pediatric PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric PACU of a hospital setting
• Care for pediatric post-anesthesia patients, including trauma cases
• Level II trauma environment with preference for Trauma I experience
• Variable day and mid shifts with 8- or 10-hour options
• Candidates may be floated to other departments or facilities within a 75-mile radius during the contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license
• AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• At least 2 years of pediatric PACU or Pre-Op RN experience
• Experience in a Level II trauma center required; Trauma I experience preferred
• Prior travel nurse experience within the past 12 months required
• COVID vaccination and booster required
• Proof of COVID vaccination or scheduled booster appointment must be provided prior to consideration

Additional Information

• RTO must be declared at offer; additional requests mid-contract will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted on this unit
• Prior academic teaching hospital experience is preferred
• Online learning modules are completed prior to start and annually
• Travel pairs are permitted, but generally not placed on the same unit
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required according to unit needs
