Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least two years of recent cath lab experience, an active MD or compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department within a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour day shifts per week, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call required every fourth weekend and one to two weekdays per month
• Response time for on-call is within 30 minutes from initiation of call
• Holiday coverage is required and assigned on a rotation

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Minimum of two years current cardiac cath lab experience
• Experience in a hospital with at least 500 beds is required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience using Epic EMR system

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and within a multidisciplinary team
• Holiday coverage is rotated among staff
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
