Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op position in Texas requiring a compact or TX RN license and at least one year of recent Pre-Op nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the hospital Pre-Op Holding Unit
• Day shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent Pre-Op nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidate must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• One professional reference required (unless licensed in Florida or Missouri, which require two references)

Additional Information

• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities focus on providing Pre-Op nursing care and preparing patients for surgery
• Assignment includes collaborative work within the multidisciplinary perioperative team
