Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical position requiring a GA or compact license and at least two years of recent med/surg nursing experience.

Details

• Work in a medical surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30, three days per week
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of two years of medical surgical RN experience required
• Unit accepts first time travelers
• Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one full year if previously employed as perm or PRN
• Submission of two supervisory references is highly preferred

Additional Information

• Must be available to work major holidays that occur during the assignment period according to facility policy
• No blocked scheduling available
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside of the health system prior to rebooking if previously unable to return
• Required modules to be completed during orientation with hours factored in
• Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed, with none during the first week
