Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric RN with BLS, PALS, and a current NC or compact RN license for a night shift position with every other weekend required.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital pediatric unit
• Work schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend work is required every other weekend
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric RN experience required (2 years preferred)
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
• One supervisory reference from the last year is required
• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions or declinations

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• Team members will need to complete required orientation modules, both billable and non-billable
• All required documents must be submitted prior to the compliance deadline
• Annual and specialty-specific training modules must be completed as assigned
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles
