American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active IL license, BLS, and NIH certification.

Details

• Work in a 23-bed Medical Surgical unit at an acute care hospital
• Night shifts with 3x12 hour schedule starting at 18:45
• Every other weekend work is required
• Level I trauma center and Magnet hospital setting
• Floating is required within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Charting is done in Cerner; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required, or in application process with ETA
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with PICC line management and starting IVs required
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for managing PICC lines and initiating IV access
• Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Scrub attire can be any solid color
