Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU night shift position requiring a compact or TN license and recent Neuro ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Neuro ICU department of a hospital
• Serves adult neurological and critical care patients
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Weekend and on-call shifts are required as needed
• Floating may occur between similar units and campuses within 20 miles, but is rare

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience required, or 3 years if no prior travel nursing experience
• Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher accepted
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Must provide a copy of a valid driver’s license
• No pending licenses accepted; must comply with NLC guidelines

Additional Information

• Role involves high acuity neurological critical care responsibilities
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission and will not be approved if added later
• Travelers must be willing to work major holidays based on assignment period; if three holidays fall during assignment, must work two, if two then must work at least one
• Must have been separated for one year to return as a traveler if previously employed in a permanent or internal travel capacity
• First-time travelers are only considered with 3 or more years of recent Neuro ICU experience
• Vaccination status must be included for consideration
