American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring L&D experience and willingness to float across hospital units.

Details

• Work in the NICU of a public hospital
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• First week of orientation will be day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Cross-training and coverage for Delivery/Mother-Baby may be required as the unit moves toward an LDRP model
• Floating required to other units and can include sitter assignments
• Care may be provided for a prison patient population

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NRP, and STABLE
• L&D experience required
• Must be willing and able to float to other units as needed
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Additional Information

• Will assist with cross-training to support LDRP transition
• Must be comfortable working with incarcerated patient population
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Compliance modules must be completed prior to start
• Holiday coverage and floating subject to department needs
