American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in an acute care, Level I trauma center with a requirement of an active IL RN license and 5 years of PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU unit of an acute care hospital setting
• Level I trauma center and Magnet-designated hospital
• Average daily census is 60 patients
• Shift is mid-shift from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
• On-call is required
• Floating is required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Uses Cerner charting system and experience with Cerner is required
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 5 years of PACU RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or Red Cross; RQI cards not accepted
• Cerner EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Candidates must not be current or recent (within 12 months) permanent or PRN employees of Memorial

Additional Information

• Must be willing to float as needed within the hospital or to affiliated sites
• RTO (time off) of up to 5 days is automatically approved; more requires facility approval
• Candidate must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Locals are accepted with no radius restriction
• Parking permit is required but provided at no cost
• Modules must be completed virtually on the first day and annually thereafter
• Lab appointment, Docusigns, and badge photo must be completed at least 1 week prior to starting
