Description

American Traveler is seeking a chemo-certified RN with at least 2 years of recent oncology experience and an active IL RN license for a weekday day shift position.

Details

• Work in a specialty care clinic setting in the chemo/infusion unit
• Patient population includes oncology/hematology patients receiving infusions
• Shifts are 5x8 hour days, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• No weekend or call requirements
• Mandatory floating within scope to meet facility needs, may include floating to different units and locations up to 50 miles away
• Uses Cerner EMR; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration (no pending licensure)
• BLS and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
• Minimum 2 years of infusion center, inpatient oncology, or outpatient oncology experience required
• COVID vaccination required

Additional Information

• Duties include administering chemotherapy and caring for oncology/hematology patients
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Strict compliance with onboarding and lab deadlines is enforced
• Maximum 5 days RTO allowed, no more than 2 days consecutively, and no RTO on or surrounding holidays or weekends
• Public transportation is highly recommended due to limited parking options
• Only local candidates living within 75 miles of the facility will be considered
• Team-based model used when floating outside primary competency area
