American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pulmonary PCU position requiring at least 1 year of recent specialty experience and active NC or compact licensure.

Details

• Position is in a hospital pulmonary progressive care unit (PCU)
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient population consists of pulmonary progressive care cases
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a PCU or specialty unit
• American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Professional reference required (two for FL and MO, one for other states)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide care to pulmonary PCU patients overnight as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain required documentation and participate in unit communication
• Profile completion, including references and certifications, is required for consideration
