American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) trauma stepdown position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Trauma Care Stepdown Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for trauma stepdown patient population

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent PCU or stepdown experience
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in area of placement is preferred
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications with no expiration within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility—no local candidates
