Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN with a minimum of 2 years' rehabilitation nursing experience and current BLS certification for an inpatient rehab setting on day shifts.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation environment with 50 beds
• Rehabilitation nursing unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:8
• Scheduled 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7PM, including some weekends
• Uses Cerner electronic health record system
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current LPN license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent rehabilitation nursing experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
• Basic computer proficiency and effective English communication skills needed
• Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination card required
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from facility
• Must not have been employed at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Must not be employed elsewhere full time

Additional Information

• Main duties include providing care to rehabilitation patients and supporting interdisciplinary care goals
• Requires strong teamwork and cooperative attitude
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Time to report for shift is 6:45AM
• Parking is available on the side of the building
