American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of cath lab experience and advanced certifications to work day shifts with required call.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required; minimum 1 late shift per week, 1 call shift per week, and 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule
• Expected to float to the EP lab as needed, including taking late call when assigned
• Candidate may be floated within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Patient population includes those undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, structural procedures, and device implants
• Conscious sedation and hemodynamics monitoring performed

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Must have experience with diagnostic and interventional heart caths, structural heart procedures, implants, hemodynamics, and conscious sedation
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• No licensure hits accepted
• Must provide two supervisory references from the past three years

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with heart catheterizations, monitoring hemodynamics, administering conscious sedation, and supporting structural and device implant procedures
• May provide support in the EP lab and cover late call as scheduled
• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 75 miles are not eligible for this travel position
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months to be eligible as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of application; late RTO requests will not be approved
• Completion of orientation modules required
