American Traveler is hiring an experienced LPN for a post-acute LTC/SNF night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and current BLS certification.

Details

• Position is based in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF)
• 48-bed unit serving patients with dementia, heart disease, COPD, CKD, and depression
• Patient ratio of 1 LPN per 48 residents on night shift with support from a certified medication aide and RN unit manager during days
• Night shifts are 12 hours, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with every other weekend and holiday required
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) charting system

Requirements

• Current LPN or LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for nursing care of residents with a variety of chronic and acute health conditions
• Must be able to work both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts as assigned
• Team includes two nurses per shift, certified medication aides, and RN unit manager during days
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required for this role
• Local pay rates apply within an 80-mile radius or for those utilizing employer-provided housing
