Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift, rapid response crisis assignment in Colorado, requiring a current CO or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg adult unit
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Assignment duration is 10 weeks

Requirements

• Active Colorado or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Additional Information

• Directly provide acute and swing bed patient care, including evaluation and implementation of evidence-based practice
• Participate in health assessment, teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy
• Accurately document all patient care, assessments, and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to address comprehensive patient needs
