American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sterile Processor Supervisor with relevant managerial background and strong sterile processing expertise.

Details

• Work in a hospital sterile processing department managing surgical instrumentation and equipment
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Supervisory role overseeing sterile processing activities, storage, and transport of instruments and equipment
• Manages preventive maintenance schedules and contracts for all sterile processing equipment

Requirements

• Sterile Processing Manager experience is required
• Certification in sterile processing is required
• Previous experience in a facility with 500+ bed count is necessary
• Experience supervising and training sterile processing staff

Additional Information

• Responsible for maintaining compliance with AAMI, AORN, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
• Provides education and training on case picking for all sterile processing staff
• Leads the creation and development of training pathways for sterile processing students
• Participates in regulatory and accreditation surveys
• Arranges for transportation of borrowed instruments and maintains collaborative communication with other departments
• Actively involved in recruiting and retaining qualified staff across multiple locations
• Locals accepted at the same rate except where specified
