American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a TX or compact license for a day-shift position requiring 3 years of specialty experience and advanced life support certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization (Cath Lab) unit
• Day shift hours from 07:00 to 16:30
• Assignment is approximately 7 weeks in length
• Patient population includes individuals requiring cardiac catheterization and related procedures

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a cardiac cath lab setting required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP) required and can be completed prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsible for monitoring patients and assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Primary Source Verification of license required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
• Local candidates accepted for this assignment
• Job-specific orientation will be provided prior to patient care duties
