Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele position in California requiring a current CA RN license and flexibility to float between units and campuses.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• May float to other units within scope of practice as well as other campuses depending on census and need
• A shuttle service is available for travel between campuses when floating is required

Requirements

• Current CA RN license is required
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Must comply with a 50 mile radius rule for eligibility
• Returning staff must have a break of at least 1 year before reapplying as a traveler

Additional Information

• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract acceptance
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during the assignment
• Nurses are expected to provide care to a variety of adult patients in a dynamic environment with possible float requirements
• First time travelers are not specified but candidates should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
