Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Telemetry position on a mixed acuity cardiac unit, requiring PA or compact RN licensure and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based step-down telemetry unit
• Unit specializes in post-cardiac and vascular surgeries, including open-heart, VADs, thoracic surgery, and interventional cardiology patients
• Care for patients age 18 and older requiring intermediate level of care
• 60-bed unit with mixed acuity and cardiac focus
• Night shifts available (3x12 Hour shifts, 18:45 - 07:15)
• May float to other departments including med-surg and ED hold as needed
• Holidays and weekends scheduled as needed
• Use Epic EMR, prior experience required

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant RN experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Will provide care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and medical stepdown needs
• Could care for COVID-19 positive patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• RTO (requested time off) limited to a maximum of 7 days
