Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring two years of ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 7-bed ICU within a hospital environment
• Nurse to patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 based on acuity
• Care for ICU-level patients and perform clinical assessments and interventions
• Utilize equipment such as Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech EMR, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, and NICOM
• 12-hour night shifts available with some weekend coverage required
• Float to MedSurg and other departments as needed within competency

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
• Ability to float to other units within competency
