Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in an acute setting with night shifts and strong OB background required.

Details

• Work in a level 1 maternity unit within an acute care hospital
• Unit involves cross-training to labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum
• Handles approximately 30 deliveries per month
• Unit includes 6 postpartum rooms and 4 labor and delivery rooms
• Utilizes TruBridge - Evident, Centricity, and CPSI charting systems
• Night shifts with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• 24 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 3 years OB nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Experience using EMR systems: TruBridge - Evident, Centricity, and CPSI
• Must meet AWHONN staffing guidelines

• Staff are expected to provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum settings
• Holiday and night shift coverage is required
