American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position in Florida requiring an active FL or compact RN license and L&D experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 13-week assignment duration
• Float first to the women’s unit, then to the house as a sitter or task nurse if needed
• Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience required
• Must provide one reference from entire work history
• ANCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification or must pass prestart GNOSIS Exam
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility to be eligible as a traveler
• Former employees must be gone from facility for at least one year before reapplying

Additional Information

• Role may require floating to support the women’s unit or to function as a sitter or task nurse as needed
• Position includes night and weekend coverage
• Dress code and holiday requirements will be specified at the time of assignment
