American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Step Down Unit night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Step Down Unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:15 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
• Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
• EPIC charting system is used on the unit

Requirements

• Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Step Down Unit experience required
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is expected
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions for medical or religious reasons

• Responsibilities include providing intermediate level care to patients who require close monitoring and specialized nursing support
• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Parking may incur out-of-pocket costs depending on location, with daily rates ranging from $17-$22
• Holiday rotations are required based on the facility’s schedule
