American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health role in Hawaii, requiring a HI RN license, Home Health experience, and proficiency in OASIS documentation.

Details

• Work in a Home Health setting providing care primarily to adult patients in their homes
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities
• Productivity standard of 25 units per week
• Occasional floating to Oahu, Kauai, and/or Big Island may be required, with all travel expenses covered

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health nursing experience required
• At least 3 months of OASIS documentation experience required
• Proficient in adult Home Health care, including admissions, assessments, and case management
• Experience with a range of clinical skills such as IVs, wound care, pain management, and post-surgical care

Additional Information

• Provide a wide scope of nursing duties including assessments, recertifications, admissions, and coordination of patient services
• Expected to manage complex clinical needs such as wound vacs, G-tubes, catheters, ports, and pain management in adult patients
• Scrubs of any color and closed-toed shoes are required
• Preferred candidates have Psych Home Health experience and familiarity with MatrixCare documentation system
