American Traveler is seeking an RN with experience in cardiovascular implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) for an outpatient clinic position requiring active OR and WA licenses.

Details

• Work in an outpatient clinic setting specializing in adult cardiovascular care
• Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient population includes adults with CIEDs needing monitoring and management
• Candidates may be required to float to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN licenses for Oregon and Washington required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree required
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with emphasis in adult cardiovascular patient care
• Must have experience working with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for consideration; no exemptions permitted
• Two management or supervisor references from the past 24 months required; one may be within 3-5 years if unable to collect two within 24 months
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include independent CIED interrogation, problem solving device function, and patient and family education on device and disease management
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary cardiac electrophysiology teams and medical faculty
• Assist with clinical data analysis, reporting, and device clinic documentation
• Manage device alerts, advisories, and recalls in partnership with team members and vendors
• Proactively review patient schedules for workflow efficiency and resolve scheduling conflicts
• Return staff must have a 6-month break before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of two weeks of requested time off (RTO) allowed when submitting
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
