Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a CVOR position requiring 2.5 years of CVOR experience and an active NJ or compact license.

Details

• Position is in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with occasional work in a hybrid OR suite
• High-acuity cardiovascular surgical cases including valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, aortic aneurysm repair, and vascular procedures
• Shift is 3x12-hour days (07:00 – 19:30)
• On-call required: 24 hours on Saturday/Sunday (one weekend per month) and 8-hour weekday on-call shifts (either 15:00–23:00 or 23:00–07:00)
• Use of EPIC EMR is required
• Floating to the main Operating Room may be required, covering Ortho, General, GYN, Robotic, Ortho/Neuro, Vascular, and Pediatric surgeries
• Scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2.5 years of recent CVOR experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures including valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, and a variety of vascular surgeries
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Previous RWJBarnabas Health staff (full time or PRN) must have at least a 1-year gap before returning
