Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in California requiring a CA RN license, recent critical care experience, and active ACLS certification.

Details

• Position is in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent CVICU or critical care nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred
• Recent experience in a progressive or intermediate care unit is preferred
• All required licenses and certifications must be active and current, with no pending status
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide advanced cardiovascular critical care to patients with complex needs
• Assignment duration is limited per HR policy and may not exceed specified maximums
• Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Compliance with policies regarding maximum assignment length and required breaks between contracts
• Working with an interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting
