American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a NY RN license, IR experience, and strong procedural skills.

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) unit at a Level I trauma center
• Patient population includes adolescents through geriatric adults
• Procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phase responsibilities required
• Floating to the Cardiac Cath Lab is required
• Uses Cerner and McKesson EMR systems
• Hospital provides scrubs for this position

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of application
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Previous IR nursing experience is required
• Experience caring for adolescent to geriatric patients required
• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery required
• Must be willing and able to float to the Cardiac Cath Lab
• COVID-19 vaccination is required with proof at time of consideration
• Permanent address must not be in specified New York counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington)

Additional Information

• Responsible for managing patients throughout radiology procedures, including sedation, circulation, and recovery
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team in a Level I trauma environment
• Hospital provides required scrubs for all shifts
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred but not required
