American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool position with a MA RN license required and a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Details

• Work in the hospital float pool, providing coverage for medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Patient population includes adult med-surg and telemetry cases
• Assigned to 12-hour rotating shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities specified
• No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings
• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication competency tests
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine required unless medical exemption is documented
• Must not have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the past 6 months

Additional Information

• May be assigned to different units within the float pool as needed based on staffing demands
• Required to complete and pass facility competency modules and testing before assignment
• Scrub or professional dress code required according to hospital policy
• Candidates should be prepared for variable parking availability and possible daily parking fees
