Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel assignment requiring 2 years of PICU experience and valid FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a children's hospital setting
• Shifts are 12 hours, with a typical schedule of day shift 0645-1915
• Assignment length is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating required within the children's hospital only
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience
• Current PALS (AHA) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• CRRT competency preferred but not required
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
• Must not have worked at the facility within the past year

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill pediatric patients
• Assignment is limited to the children's hospital units only
• Returning employees must have a break of at least one year before taking another travel assignment here
