Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position providing pre- and post-procedural care to adults, requiring at least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based endoscopy and PACU unit caring for adult patients
• Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedural care for endoscopy cases
• Day shift position, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, schedule varies with no set or block schedule
• Orientation provided on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• EPIC (Optime) is used as the electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience
• Experience in facilities with at least 500 beds required
• Prior PACU experience and dysrhythmia management required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• IV access/certification preferred for pre-procedure preparation
• ICU experience, previous travel assignments, EPIC experience, ACLS, Critical Care certification, and trauma course completion preferred
