Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position on a nephrology unit, with night shift availability and a minimum of one year of RN experience required.

Details

• Position is in a hospital medicine/nephrology unit
• Care for a diverse group of nephrology patients with varying health issues
• Night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma or compact RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Some computer skills required

Additional Information

• Charge nurse experience is highly preferred
• Must have strong ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Responsible for documentation, medication administration, monitoring patient data, and supporting minor procedures
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Role includes interaction with patients and families around care plans and discharge
