American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position in a medicine/nephrology unit requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least one year of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting within the medicine/nephrology unit
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• Patient population includes individuals with a range of nephrology-related health conditions
• Assignment length is 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active OK or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Some computer skills required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to nephrology patients, including administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and documenting patient responses
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures or treatments
• Responsible for initiating, regulating, and monitoring IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate with patients and families about care plans and hospital procedures
• Delegation of tasks to support staff as needed
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• After a maximum of 26 weeks contracted at this facility, a 6-month separation is required before employment eligibility resumes
