Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a Same Day Program, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Position in a Same Day Surgery PACU setting with a 34-bed unit
• Responsibilities include pre and post-operative recovery care
• Patient assignments include a 1:2 phase one recovery ratio
• Patient services include gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery cases
• Shifts vary between 6:00am-4:30pm, 7:00am-5:30pm, and 8:00am-6:30pm
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Must have recent (within the last 2 years) Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience
• No local candidates allowed; must live outside a 75-mile radius

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive recovery care to surgical patients in both pre and post-operative phases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• First-time travelers may be eligible if all requirements are met
