American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with trauma and robotics experience for a Level I trauma setting.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Operating Room
• Level I trauma environment specializing in general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology robotic procedures
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 to 17:30)
• 3-4 weekend shifts required during a 6-week period, which may be on day, evening, or night shifts
• 2-3 on-call shifts within a 6-week period, with a 30-minute callback response required
• Care for COVID patients may be required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license for PA or a compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Level I trauma experience required; Level II experience considered with more than 1 year in trauma
• Robotics experience with proficiency in Davinci xi required; familiarity with DV5 Davinci robot is a plus
• Must be able to scrub and circulate independently without refresher training
• Experience caring for thoracic and vascular surgical cases is highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Responsible for both scrubbing and circulating in robotic surgical cases
• Must be able to work independently with Davinci xi and preferred with the DV5 Davinci robot

• Holiday shifts are required according to department needs and may occur on any shift
• No specific floating required
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off will be considered
