Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an IA or compact RN license and key certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Typical shift is from 10:30 to 23:00, with flexibility required to cover alternate shifts such as 14:30-03:00
• Patient population includes both adult and pediatric emergency cases
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• License and certifications must be current and verifiable

• Accepts local candidates with local rate eligibility based on state of residence
• Must be able to adapt to flexible scheduling and work both adult and pediatric emergencies
• Holiday and weekend coverage expected on a rotating basis
