Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy position with day shifts and call rotation, requiring a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in an Endoscopy unit serving adolescent to geriatric patients
• Handles both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy cases
• Typical daily caseload is 25 procedures
• Day shifts consist of 3x10-hour shifts from 6:30 to 17:00
• Floating within skillset may be required
• On-call required 4-5 days within a 6-week period

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings preferred
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Information

• Must be able to work up to 2 out of 3 major holidays during the assignment, depending on the schedule
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off, excluding the first week of the assignment
• Full compliance with credentialing required to begin on-schedule; bi-weekly orientation may affect start date if not compliant
• Nurses must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 year to be eligible for return as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
