Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR Operating Room position requiring at least 3 years of experience and active NJ or compact licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults undergoing open heart surgeries such as CABG, valve procedures (aortic, mitral, pulmonic), and TAVR
• Day shift: four 10-hour shifts per week from 11:00 to 21:30
• On-call requirement of 32 hours per month
• RNs may float to the Main OR if there are no CVOR cases
• Uses Epic as the EMR system
• Experience with devices including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and TAVR

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant CVOR experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Scrub experience for open CVOR cases and TAVR required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must have knowledge and experience with devices such as Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and TAVR procedures
• Returning employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
