American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring an AR or compact RN license and a passion for surgical nursing.

Details

• Work in a CVOR unit within a hospital environment with 13 operating rooms
• Handles a variety of surgical cases including general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, urology, and GYN procedures
• Approximately 650 surgical cases are performed per month in this department
• Utilizes advanced technology including the Davinci Surgical Robot, navigational spinal and ENT surgery equipment, and a hybrid OR for vascular procedures
• Scheduled for weekday nights (2+ days per week, depending on staffing) and every third weekend (Friday through Sunday)
• On-call duties are required

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an ADN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of surgical nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Basic computer literacy is required
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
