Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Step Down/Med Surg Telemetry position requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least two years of recent acute care experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital step down or Med Surg Telemetry unit
• Assignments may be on PCU or Med/Surg/Tele units based on skills and current need
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Floating may be required within skill set onsite or to affiliated sites within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification within 30 days of assignment start
• Candidates must possess a U.S. Social Security Number and provide a U.S. home address

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing care for step down, med surg, or telemetry patients as needed
• Must be able to float based on facility staffing needs and individual skill set
• All travel positions are offered as auto offer assignments
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced pay rate depending on facility radius rules
• Covid vaccination is not required for this assignment
• Holiday coverage is required as scheduled
