Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with at least two years of relevant OR experience and current Epic EMR skills.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of an acute care teaching hospital
• Adult patient population in a Level II trauma setting
• Shifts are typically four 10-hour days (06:30-17:00), with possible option for five 8-hour shifts
• On-call required 2-3 days per week
• Weekend shifts are required every other weekend
• Floating within scope to the main OR may be required
• Holidays are required as part of coverage
• Uses Epic for documentation

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of experience in CVOR, general OR, hybrid OR, or trauma settings
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Pending Michigan licenses will not be considered

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing within CVOR procedures
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment

• RTO (requested time off) must be declared at the time of application
• Holiday work is required according to hospital coverage needs
