Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit, requiring a CO or Compact RN license and acute BMT or heme/onc experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit
• 36-bed unit caring for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo, biotherapies, and cellular therapies such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T
• Patient ratio is 3-4:1
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) on various days
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• No on-call required
• Floating within like units may be required to meet facility needs
• EMR system is Epic

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in BMT or hematology/oncology
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Navy scrubs required
• Maximum 10 days of time off approved per contract; specific blackout dates apply for RTO
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Pre-assignment modules and onboarding required
• Candidates with prior UCHealth employment or assignments may need eligibility verification
• Return travelers must wait one year before being rebooked
• Position soon expanding to 51 beds
